Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Good Afternoon Heston East residents we wish to remind people to keep their Mobile phone safe when travelling on their Cycle or walking around Hounslow Town Centre due to there has been a number of reports of Thefts of Mobile Phones from people went they are busy shopping. Upon speaking to the victims they stated that they had it out texting people and a group of 14 - 17 year old boys snatched it out of there hands and ran off down the main high street side roads. The description of these suspects are shown below.
14 - 17 Years old
Black in Colour
Young Males
Dressed in black tops and dark coloured Joggers
5ft 5 - 5ft 8
Appear to work in groups of 2 or 3
